strange happenings today..

Twice today I have stopped my cup and taken out my key and the engine has continued to tick over for about 10/15 seconds and then cut out.. the second time i even managed to rev the engine without a key in the ignition! weird! anyone know if this is the symptoms of something bad happening? or hopefuly (tho probly not) nothing to worry about..

I know old fiesta used to do this if you took the keys out really quick.

Sounds like something to do with the ignition is on it's way out.

mine done this at 36k... for about a week.

stopped itself. its now on 86k and never done it since
