Strange issue with lights

Hi,

Last night when putting the car in the garage the lights didn't automatically turn on even though it was sufficiently dark enough to cause the gel pack to work. Plus, at the same time I noticed the "SERV" light on in the top right of the central area on the dash.

I turned the lights on manually which worked fine. Out of curiosity I turned the car off and back on and everything functioned normally.

Any ideas?

Could it be a lose connection? If so where do I need to look?

You've prob turned the auto lights off.

Turn the key so the elctrics are on but the engine isn't, flick your light switch on and off twice, car should beep and lights should be auto again.

As for SERV light, there will have been another light on.

Yea if its only happened once wudnt worry too much about it, just keep an eye on it.

My lights worked fine afterwards without having to do any of the stuff mentioned, they also worked fine again tonight.
