Strange Question

  Clio 182
My Clio 182 log book has a French stamp in it, not in the service records just a company's stamp on the first page. A vague translation mentions something about exportation and the company is based in Paris.

The rear tyres I think are still the originals (car has 25k on it) and has French wording on the tyre 'cote exterieur' iirc

This may be a daft question but are all Clio Sport's imported then registered as UK cars? I appreciate the cars are made in France and shipped over for sale just find it strange there is a French company stamp in the log book, I thought it would have been sent straight from the factory to the dealer...

Some are imports, i think you can tell if the car has no alarm or window etching its normally an import.

It states on the logbook it is a UK vehicle, my last car was a Japanese import and had the date of first UK registration whereas the Clio just states it is a UK car...

The steering wheel is in the right place anyway so can't be French!
