Streaky windows when put up or down.

Basically does anyone know why my passenger's and driver's windows get all streaky, wet and generally dirty looking when they go down through the black rubber in the door?

Is there a fix, I'm fed up with it looking cheap and nasty every-time I put my window back up

Give them a really good clean from the inside, and then dry them properly.

Do you mean the rubber seal? I just get black stuff coming off it every-time I try to clean it :S

thiers two peices of rubber either side of the window, from memory the outside one has a fluffy felt thing on it. get some warm soapy water, a paint brush and wash them ( should see lots of crap turning the sudds a differnt colour.
dry that off, then open and close the windows a few times, drying the glass in bettween until your left with no streaky mess

( windows down when doing this and dont over soak the place )
