Stretched handbrake cable???

Hi, went to put my handbrake on tonight and it pulls up way further than normal (only get 3/4 clicks out of it normally) now get about 10 clicks, it still holds, just obviously have to pull it up further, just wondering will it just be my handbrake cable streched?? :dapprove:

i thought it ment something to do with ur brakes needing replacing?

Might have done most likly though you'll need to chnage/check the rear drum adjustemtn its probabably fallen of or broken.
