Stripping!

  2 wheel power
What would people suggest removing from the interior to make it lighter but still practical. As my car doesn't have a lot of power I'm looking to reduce the weight but still need the car everyday so am looking for practical and cheap ways to make it quicker

from the back of the front seats, rip everything behind that point out lol.

if you are going to do it, do it properly,
carpet - out
plastics -out
roof liner - out
rear seats - out
sound proofing - out
if you want a degree of comfort/practicality then leave the front door cards in

in my opinion

mmmmmm, well it would seem there is no way i can strip it and still be practical. How much could i build a cheapish track car for, i already have a car ready with a busted engine, so what sort of engine would be a good swap in a Phase 1 rt

a valver, i can get you a hole valver btut needs a gear box for only £800, is a minter aswell, lol ;-)

got some fresh pics to take but my cars having the cambelt and head gasket done at the moment, as for wiring most of mine is now covered with convoluted tubing from ebay, about 60p a meter and looks pretty neat and motorsport, i have kept the roof liner in, but i have a sunroof and i thought it would look a little too schlag if i took it out lol,

I would prefer to buy a valver and track that but unfortunately i have 2 cars on the drive and the rents aint too happy about this so if i can justify keeping them both I'll be alright. Buyin another car will be a big no no

i have stripped thae same amout as you fella, what did you do with all the wires? they look ugly. also when you too rear pre temsioners out what did you connect the wires too?

since these pics iv fitted harnesses, and removed a couple more pieces of trim (roof grab handles, handbrake surround) and fitted a momo v6 wheel, should have some fresh pics up next week for all you schlag fans out there lol

all the wires are encased in tubing, looks neater, when i get the car back il get some detail pics up, and my car didnt have rear pretensioners so they werent a problem

ok, its driving me mad coz i have to leave them sitting in the holes lol, looks ugly, what did you do with your old wheel?
