Just recently bought a cheap 172, in having trouble with 1st gear thou, goes in all gears including reverse absolutely fine, there's no crunching or whining from the box at all
If I'm stationary, I'll have to keep pressing the clutch in and out for it to go into 1st, I have to do this at least a couple of times, seems to be worse when the cars warm. When it's cold always seems to go in no trouble
Really starting to bug me, especially when I'm in traffic
