strut brace

is a 172 strut brace compatible with a 182?

I wouldnt think so as the 182 strut is a diff shape due to the strengthening over a 172.

do you kno where id b able t get a front strut brace i tried K Tec but they dont do a front strut brace for the 182

You might struggle at the moment as there still isnt a huge amount of kit for the 182. You could try demon tweeks or something as im sure last time I looked they had a large stock of strut braces.

Th strut brace will fit.
The front dampers being differet on the 182 have no effect on the instlion of a strut brace.

Yeah as edde says. I assume that the shell is the same its just the dampers, springs etc so any mk2 strut brace fits any other mk2.

Yeah if you look on ebay for the front strut brace it says 1.2/1.5/172/182 for the fitment

If you order a 82 one and ty say they have one hn they ould give you a refund easy.
However if you order a 172 one and it wrong then it might be moe dificult.
However all Mk2 have the same shell so its no problem a 172 will fit a 1.2 16V or a 182 or a dci
