Well, you posted this yesterday so your car is probably fixed now, but mine wouldn't start on Friday evening, left me stranded at a petrol station!!

It was turning over, the immobiliser light had gone out, so it wasn't that, but it just wouldn't start.

Called AA man, he got it started in about 2 minutes. Turns out my CRANK SENSOR was covered in metallic dust and buggered it up. Give it a quick clean and then... car starts instantly first time.

Mine turned out to be an immob problem, sorted in minutes but AA man said if it continues to be a problem it might need looking at...
