SUB

you dont need to face the actual box in any particular direction

bass isnt a directional sound, its more of vibrations really, doesnt matter if the sub is facing you, or facing away, it will sound the same

we put a basstube in my cousins transit van, cut a hole so it slotted under the drivers seat. we tried it with the sub in the front, port in the back which sounded ok, then tried it with sub in the back and port in the front, sounded loads better?

yeah it does make a difference the way the sub and port faces

and in small hatches it is usually better to face the sub towards the rear
