Summer or winter ???

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
So, at present have 2 x 3 month old Dunlop SP's on front of Golf, and 2 x worn Goodyear NCT's on rear.
Was looking on ebay for new tyres to replace NCT's, regular summer tyres as have never run winters. In amongst new summers, are some sets of part worn branded winter tyres, with approx 4mm of tread. 4 part worn winters for price of 2x new summers.

So with chrimbo around the corner and just having taxed the golf, 4 x new winters ain't an option, so what would you go for....

Open to all, didn't even consider till looked on the bay. What will give best performance over next couple of months, 4 x new summers or 4 x part worn winters. Remember 4x new winters aint an option........: )
