Are there any Renault meets in the North East ??

I'm from Jarrow and there are a few of us northerners on here such as:
@robbie1988 @matty1995 @getikte @Stuiemc

There is a few others, just can't think of they're names off the top of my head.

It's very very rare we ever get much going in the way of a meet though. All of our cars are pretty much track focused so don't really see too many road miles.

As said above me and @matty1995 are local, ours are both road cars so of any meets are arranged we will be up for it

Thanks for those replies ..so not much in the way of Clio meets then ..I live beside the Stadium .my 182 is a road car .I've seen a few about but few and far between ..seems like you have to live elsewhere for the car scene ..it seems to be dying .

I work in Pallion well for now, but as Stevie said my Clio is track forcused and rarely sees the road.

There’s a few other pages like French north east, rs197/200, meganesport.net etc

There’s a drive out happening soon.
And there’s a few various other meets organised. You missed one up at spillers car park 2 weeks ago, maybe 12/13 cars turned up.

I'm from Durham way and would be up for a meet in the north east, like @Invexis- has already said, most of the meets are arranged on facebook, most recent meets have been organised on the RS197/200 page which was a decent turn out last time I went through.

Set a time and date. Post it in the NE section.

Don’t ‘generate interest’ and ask for ideas. Make a time, date and location concrete and it should go well. Otherwise you’ll get loads of umming and aahing.

Speaking from experience there lol

And yes, attend csf. There’s a few north east members that come

I'm from Hebburn. had around 15 Cliosports to date. Currently got a petrol blue 182 which is currently getting the engine ripped out of it and looking to get it set up for fast road. Hoping it'll be back on the road mid march so definately keen on getting out and meeting others in the area.

Even though quite a lot of people who've commented on here know me and have bought parts off me in the last 6 months

Hi ... I've been to the meet on a sunday down team valley ..good turn out considering it' still early in the year ..might be worth a dodge down ..there wasn't any more 182 there ..plenty st fiestas !!!

I cant ever remember the North East section being busy on here. I haven't had a Clio for years but still frequent the forum and Im in East Boldon.

There is a run out to Hartside scheduled for the 17th March - i'm hoping to have my PB 182 on the road by then.

Will potentially be going to the Team Valley tonight in the PB 182 - just had it out for a bit of a shakedown after being rebuilt and apart from a couple of issues it's good to go. Will try and give it a wash and get my new wheels on it
