sunroof again!!!!

right then, getting a bit p****d off at the moment, i have read all the threads about the usual problems with these sunroofs came across one which said about the drain tube which comes down the front pillar and comes out behind the inner arch plastic , well anyway i have stripped all that out only to find that all that was behind the plastic was fresh air and mud. Can anyone tell me where on my car (WILLIAMS 3 ) the drain tube is !! thats if it has one to start with, ta

if its leaking its because your frame is twisted - they distort over a long period of time. It will be nothing to do with the drainage tube. Its a very common fault and i used to replace loads. A new frame is £336.40 - part number 7701367849. If your lucky it may be the rubber seal running between the glass and mechanism - part number 7701042939 £75.81. If you go 2nd hand youll probably get the same thing happening again soon.

Yep j3ned is right.

After mucho research there are no drain holes. Only way to fix is to remove it completley, clean it all up and refit it.

Mine is booked in at a sunroof place in 2 weeks time. And they guarentee there work for a year.

i take it then that all the head liner has to come out for this job, is it much of a problem to take out ? and roughly how long would it take ?
