Sunroof (i know there are loads of threads but in still stuck)

Hi fella's

I have read quite a few threads on here bout the rattling / creaking of the sunroof in clio's mine does it to and its driving me insane.

Has anyone got any images available that point out where to put the sponge/cloth padding to stop the noise, i have tried quite a few times but its still creaking.

Take your sunroof out mate (on a dry day/in a garage)

Theres the handle on the one end/side of its got a thing metal rod, which is the bit you need to sort, and it locks into place - you'll have seen it when you removed it.

Get some brake pipe/tube that fits on it, cut it lengthways & put a drop of super glue on it to hold it on the rod.

5 Minute job

Yeah as above, or try rolling electrical tape around it. Its also a good idea to lubricate the handle with wd40 or similar.

I have the electric sunroof in mine but I think its the actual roof flexing that makes most of the creaking noise :S

vaseline mate, its the only way along the seals honest!
