Supercar Driveout plus Clio

Just one photo for now and I'll get some more posted when they are uploaded. Lets just say the drive across Snake Pass at 8.30am yesterday with the Ferrari 550M, 911 Turbo and a Corvette was fairly brisk

This was just part of the group. We went over the Snake Pass to Glossop then met a larger group to head into Manchester city centre and cause some chaos. Great fun!

Lol shockingly enough I led the convoy out of Sheffield as I had to organiser in the passenger seat. The 182 kept up for the most part and amusingly one of the guys I met there who had an Elise tagged a photo of the 182 as "This Clio was very quick!" lol

Pistonheads run mate. I know the organiser who is doing a series of these Sunday meets over the summer.

Fantastic stuff. You will often find supercars with Clio's. It's the done thing these days, especially in Essex

Some people have a misinterpratation that supercar drivers don't want to mix it up with other cars. That is not true. The majority of guys I know enjoy all cars and meets and are very approachable.

I followed it over Snake Pass until I let the 911 and Corvette through haha. The sound of that V12 being wrung out is fantastic!

There were plenty of people getting taken for quick blasts in things like Gallardos and 430 Scuderias when we stopped at the Imperial War Museum. The owners are more than happy to chat and like all of us, they're all car enthusiasts too!

Obviously the people there are car enthusiasts so appreciate any performace car be it a Clio or a Ferrari. So would be happy to talk.

The majority of people who own Ferrari and porsches though aren't car enthusiasts. They just buy it for the badge/ image. So would look down on a Clio.

In my experience meeting super car owners is always a pleasure, their passion is no different to mine- the bank balance is the only difference .
