lol my mate had one on his mk1 clio, sounded stupid as fook and didnt make a differnce lol

  you may know it, clio?
did it sounds like a hoover?

i think what it does is suck air in rather than and an induction kit lets air flow in?

I read about one of these before. The fan broke up and ended inside the engine OUCH LOL

Independant dyno runs would be interesting just to confirm that these are utter tripe.

Theory is good, in practice they dont produce pressure

Yeah from everything I have read everyone thinks they're tripe & I agree...

But to be fair I like to give something a chance even if it has 0.1% of succession it would still be good to confirm what we all think anyway.

in theory they are great, a supercharger that doesnt use engine power to run or need majour modification to fit

BUT.. they just dont generate any preassure!

LOL leafblower + Nozzz :p

I actually believe these things could work but never as good as a genuine turbo or compressor.

If you fit two good calculated blowers to you air feeds of the airbox and map accordingly I am confinced you could see nice gains (specially low down the rev range.) Due to the blower not being rev programmed you get more forced induction in the low revs and probably non or even a bit of restriction on the high revs. (depends on the size of the blowers ofcourse)

Finding blower that allow a clio to rev to 7000 and provide enough pressure you can search a long time.

Also the blowers would need lots of energy from the battery / alternator which will take more power from the engine.
