Superguard

Is it alright to use the superguard polish and is it any good?

Its just my mate uses it but hes had it done professionally before hand or something when he bought the car and this is just to top it up or something along those lines?

Anyone used it and any reccomendations or should I just stick to Autoglym?

yeh but not really any different from a good polish with a quality wax (superguard that is, not your car mike)

very true, but look at the price of zymol, the ceapest I can get the supagaurd pack for is 75 quid thats for the silver pack the gold pack is 150 odd.

The big differeance is that a quality wax or polish will only last for a limited amount of time, the stuff I use lasts for ages and 1 set will treat my car 3 times, or do 3 cars.

yeh true, but zymol is expensive and not that good, i can get better products for £10 that zymol charge £70 for, your car does look good mike

the thing with superguard is when you wax/polish over it the protection will be removed

use lifeshine by autoglym its better than the rest and if you talk nicley to your local franchisee you can get the protective polich for £9 a bottle its enough to doa clio 3 or 4 times and its supposed to last for 10 years with 1 application anyway

i got superguard put on my car free when i got it from renault as a little deal! cos i wasnt going to pay £300 for wax and seat protector but it is realy good if u drop a drink on ur seats just comes out with no stain and the wax is good tpp as i havnt had to wax my car since just wash it and its very shiney like iv just waxed it! they say it will last 3 years too:D

Right well my mates got some and i was going to give it a try, it seemed to bring his car up very niceley, made a funny mark when left on for a long time but think it came out in the end!!!

Danny, my pal Wayne (youve met him, black vavler at JJB... not Winston... lol) used this on his car and mine as he had a few of the packs spare. Its a con and an absolute waste of time in his prof opinion and when it does get dirty it has this weird film on it for the first couple of washes. Rubbing compound just seems to be the best stuff...
