Suspension...How far do I go

  2005 Audi A3 3.2 Quattro

Ive been offered a serious bilstein suspension kit which Im really considering.

The springs are gonna cost in the region of 137 pounds and the dampers would set me back a staggering 562 pounds.

Is it worth me getting the dampers for my little 1.4 16V or should I just go with the springs. The idea of being able to fully adjust is very tempting but the amount of money Id have to spend is a little high to get it. What do you guys think?

I wouldnt bother with the shocks, especially at that price!!! You can get coilovers for that price!!! What drop are the springs??? Pi + Spax do a 60mm spring kit for the clio which is what i have (Pi) and im using standard shocks

Yeah, but billies are in a differnt league. Ask anyone that has run them.

I would just get the bilstein springs, dont worry about the dampers.

They are probably 40mm. I wouldnt want much more than that. I like subtle, not totally slammed.

Thanks for the replies guys
