I want to lower my 1992 1.2 RL, What is the reccomende height to drop the car by? I was thinking 40mm? Also what are the best springs to use when you're on a budget?!

Thanks in advance

"Dont go lower than 40" ? ...wimps! -60mm all the way! (well, without going into stupid-money coilover territory)

No, didnt have enough money when I got it done. Been fine since (touch wood), Doing a valver conversion then putting coilovers on. Go 55mm is gives a perfect stance

There's easily 5mm to spare there! I'd have a -75mm kit if it existed. :) I measured, and for my clio, -75mm would be jusssssssst right.

Yeh but there is too many speed humps around my way :rasp: I dont like too low. The rear is just right, maybe a bit lower on the front though. Go 55mm though because wont put too much strain on your existing shocks, especially if your on a budget!
