Swapped standard for recaros - Question..

Swapped seats with someone. What plugs are for what and what needs to be cut and then soldered back together?

This question is for both of us btw... thanks.

I would need to see some piccies at which state you are , as when i changed seats i did not cut/solder anything. all that was changed was the application of a 6ohm or 3 ohm resistor inserted into the seat airbag plug.

Give capital seating a call they sell the universal air bag resistor's you need for £10 each i think they charged me around £3 for next day delivery, don't be tempted with the cheap one's though i used them at first and they didn't turn my air bag light off if you fit the one's from capital seating correctly you won't need your air bag's reset.

Gray is pre tensioner, black is air bag...fit a 3 ohm resistor into the two ( which arnt black)..... this need to be done to both sides..... if this dont work, try a 6 ohm.. again both sides need equal resistance

your air bag light should go off when this is done. warning may be somethign else

But he needs the part for the airbags as his car didn't come with them

Would i be able to cut this off for him and then get renault to program my ecu so it knows there is no airbags?

EDIT: you say not to cut anything. How could he get use of the airbags?

I swapped seats with someone. I have got his recaros which came with the car from new and he has got my standard seats.

Both have been installed in the cars but we haven't plugged anything in.

I have two plugs each side (as in pic) and he just has the black plugs which were taped/covered up in his

Can somebody with a trophy post a pic of the wires under their seat please?

Nothing is connected but some wires, which i now believe to be for the pre tensioner, are soldered to some other wires iirc.

The bloke that had the recaros will have the same set up as the trophy owners so pics from trophy please!? thanks for the help
