Swapping parts...

Hi,

Im looking to swap the engine from a 1.2 petrol over into a 1.9deisel.

Both cars are the same year and shape etc, would this be a easy enough task, just swapping them over, cleaning fuel lines, swapping tank?

Sourced the other car cheap, with engine problems, body is fine.

Swap engine over from mine into other one, I knew mechanics who have swapped engines, but im just wondering about the diesel to petrol part of it.

Its simple if you have access to an engine crane, or can get the donor car on its roof for easy removal.

Have access to an engine crane, and I couldn't give a s**t about pushing donor car back onto its roof
