Swirl removal, By hand

  Hondata'd EP3 Type R
Hi, I've not owned my clio long, But today the sun was out, And i was devasted to see the poor condition of my paint work. ITs very swirly and scuffed, And been black, This shows it up the worst.

I appreciate the best way is a PC, But I dont have one (unless anyone VERY close to Birmingham/Halesowen has one and will do it for a price!), Are there any products on the market that I can use to assist me getting this swirls out by hand?

Thanks

Yea sorry about the tenuous link there, it's just my daft humor.

You could use some scratchX, I'm no expert on polishes so maybe PM one of the experts for some better advice or go on

I borrowed some ScratchX and it was a laborious job only for the swirls to be re-introduced again after not taking care when I washed it a few times.

If you have patience you could use menzerna with german applicators and do a panel at a time but it will take a while and the results will not be as good as a pc/g220/udm
Shell out the cash its worth it £200 should see you get everything you need esp with i4detailings discount

If you serious about working by hand look at the Carlack Hand Polish Bundle from Clean Your Car - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polish/car-lack-68-hand-polish-kit/prod_359.html or as said even Menzerna Intensive Polish - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polish/menzerna-250ml/intensive-polish-po91l-/prod_216.html (make sure you get the PO91L for hand use) will work if you fancy the elbow grease - ok ok lots of elbow grease. You could always do a panel an evening.

Personally I would pay someone to de swirl and then look after it if you don't want to invest in a machine and the polisheds

Started Today. Car is very swirly and is parked in a supermarket car park for 10 hours a day!

Washed Car with 2 Bucket method and AG soap stuff, Dried with a water magnet and then started Polishing.

Used AG SRP Followed By a Coat of Megs #16.

All applied by hand, Quite happy with the results. Half the car is done, But its now snowing!
