Swissvax Onyx or Megs #16 ?

I fancy trying a different kind of wax on my 172ff and was considering Swissvax Oynx or Megs #16.

Which would be best ?

The Swissvax ?

If so where would i get Swiss vax ?

Swissvax has stoped letting companys selling there stuff so you have to go to them direct.Nothing wrong with #16 glood wax and lasts ages

On silver you will be pushed to see the differences in either looks wise tbh, I would save the money and stick to the #16 - it's durability is proven.

How does Megs#16 fair against the Collinittes 476 i'm using at moment ?

And wheres the best place to get it ?

#16 is akin to it - Even on Black you can drive in the rain and the car stay quite clean.

After 50 miles in the rain

Only the back where the airflow was not good does it get mucky

Cleans up easily though

It has been worse not by much !

I agree on the Swissvax, not found any waxes to come close to Onyx or my Best of Show.

swissvax onyx for me aswell, recommended by rich

On dark coloured paint the Onyx will look better than the #16. Not sure the Onyx will be as durable as the Meguiars which is a proven performer. Still not sure that the looks differences between them will be seen on a light colour like silver.

Spend an extra £80 quid on Best of Show and you won't gain much looks wise.

imo vic concours is a very good wax ive only used mine a couple of times before i got the onyx wich for £40 you cant go wrong
