Switchable Remap Device

  Clio RS 200 Gordini
Hi, I've been searching the web for a few days for a device that will allow me to swap between the default map on my car and a performance map as I wish. I have a Clio 1.2 TCE and would love to be tapping in to 120BHP. Anyone know of a company that sells these devices?

Fastchip, but it would mean remapping your car with a laptop
every time you wanted to go from oem to aftermarket map.

There may be a switchable device for a Clio,
but i've never seen one like you can buy for VW's and Audi's.

Edit: I stand corrected. lol

This would be an awesome idea if you could put your own maps on, rather than the above companies.

I heard of a turbocharged bike that had three buttons; road, race and mental(500bhp) lol

Was gonna put switchable maps on my meganes omex. But there's no point. I just got a boost controller for low boost and high boost

emerald used to do a 3 map switch unit (for want of a better description) for the MG / Rovers.

Had 3 buttons to mount under the steering column, 1 eco-map, 1 standard, 1 performance.

RStuner by fastchip. Does the same as the device posted above but with a laptop/netbook instead of being built in the box. You still have to have the car off etc with devices like the one posted above to switch the maps (its not instant unless you have a ecu with something like a twin rom chip of some kind).

As dan says when you are driving not at full throttle the remap should be absolutely no different on fuel anyway. So why would you want to switch it back?

Main reason for it I can see is to make it a little safer to drive on the roads, so that it doesn't leap off when you brush the throttle, but you'd have to have some serious horsepower to need that.
