Used a Racesystem before though, its quite a well known company.

did it affect your performance? if so then why arnt people using these systems on clios. seems like all the money spent on upgrades could be spent here instead? but maybe for consistent performance you would still need other mods.



any 0-60 ideas on 172MKII with launch control??

what you need is an LSD guys, thatll sort out most of the problems with one wheel spinning up on take offs, if you are still spinning it up and cant control youre right foot to keep the power down then, and only then go for the traction control/launch control systems - but they can zap power depending on how they are setup and therefore cause launch times to drop.

i thought launch control dumped loads of petrol in your engine? aswell as controll wheel spin?

It dumps a load of petrol in due to being a spark-cut system, it should cut a different cylinder each time, so you only get two fuel shots max per spark in any one cylinder - this will cause flames due to the fact that there wont be enough air to completely combust all of the fuel, and so the excess will be shot out of the exhaust valves down the exhaust.
