Tailpipe Advice

Looking for new exhaust for 2002 dynamique,

Advice on tailpipes please people,

thinking, twin or quad even? Not sure help me, replies and pics please

Thanks

I think the best design for the new clios is a twin round, i like the 3.5inch twin magnex one but its for 172s only.

Hmm cheers Rob and Tom, Just spoke to Ktec, guy was not that helpful kinda telling me it was not really worth induction kit on a 1.2 cos noise and power gains will be minimal, now I accpet power gains are small, but when you start with only 75bhp then anything is a bonus,

Can we get decent sound out of a 1.2?

Are the ktec induction kits the best choice?

Noel, you have to admit their honesty must be good though, basically telling you not to bother with their products!

I am getting BamBams exhaust fitted to my car on Saturday, its a k-tec 6x4. Ill let you know how it goes and try to get a sound clip done.

that must av bin pricey tho, best qote near me for a twin exit powerflow of any shape is £210, any1 kno of beta?

The problem with powerflow is that the exhausts arent designed for your car, theyre essentially universal exhausts which are then made to fit.

Ive never even seen a powerflow but i doubt their welding is seamless..and how does a universal exhaust balance power, torque, sound, tubing size, diameter, shape and baffling for your car....? So basically you could lose power, torque and fuel economy.

Hmmm I have just been advised to go Custom route,

Would a custom from powerflow be a custom or is it universal components made to fit as stated above?

Also recommended a decat, what probs does this cause with future MOTS etc..

Going to go for a pipercross induction kit with relocation kit, Now just got to find somewhere to fit it!

noticed but they dont do the size i want (4 me and my car) and its more pricey and i have 2 drive 2 dorset

as gud as they r, dont suit me

Ktec: twin 3.5" £230 then I assume postage plus fitting costs (anyone know how mcuh an average garage would charge fitting?)

Powerflow dealer near me: nsame package £240 fitted,

IOpinions on which ios going to be the better exhaust. Powerflow say they can do me a custom decat for an extra £85 modifying my cat so I can slot it back in if I wish?#

Anyone know how hard it would be to slot the cat back in if I wanted to.
