how many mile can you lot get out of a tank ive got a 1.2 and did 320 on 40litres is that any good i dont know how to work out mpg

40 liters is 8.8 gallons which give you 36.4mpg.

I get about 320 miles but on on 1/2 tank full (I fill up when the tanks 1/2 full)

There have been quite a few older threads on this 36 seems to be about adverage.

Trip computer tells me I get 33mpg, doesnt seam to matter what type of driving I do.

ive been driving like a grandad this last tank so ill if it makes any difference. its been really hard not to put the accelerator past half way.



EDD is there 4.5litres to a gallon then have i got that right?

I think ill get more now as ive removed my IK and stainless zorst so im not driving to get the sound anymore - e.g. last night 130 miles from 15quid. Sweet!

i suppose im not doing so bad then. i put some injector treatment in i dont think it made any difference but dont do it regularly like they recommend is that why i dont see any difference?

I made a webpage to calculate mpg.. very cool - enter litres, enter miles.. and click Calculate. Heh.

I average about 36mpg.. in my 1.2 8v.

I do a 25 mile run to work every day normally sitting at 60/70mph. with the odd blats of course and Im now sitting on 6.8g used (280 miles) (on comp)and its reading 38.5 mpg.

1.4 16V (New) = 44.6mpg, currently the puter tells me I have 425 miles till empty and thats having covered 52 miles since last fill up, seems quite good - but I drive carefully

Why do you need a website its dead easy divide the amount of fuel you put in the tank by 4.5461 and then divide the miles you have done by this figure.
