Tappets!

Done a search cant seem to find anything relevant.

Can the tappets be adjusted on a 1.2? How long roughly does it take?

they can, inlet manifold of, and depending on how you attack it you may want to remove the os arch liner so you can turn the crank or you can just jack one side up put it in gear and turn the wheel

i done some a while back, easy peasy when u no how, impossible if u dont

My dad has done tappets on many cars, just not on a clio! How easy does the inlet manifold come off on a 1.2?

simple its all quite easy to get to

So it should be a relatietly easy job then? Renault said its 6 hours work! how long you reckon realisticly?

hour and a half, i'd say if you a dawdling and havn't done it before 3 very very maximum
