tappety noise

friends 172 when its idleing it makes a noise from under the front drivers side arch?
been to renault they say usual and its a vapour release valve! mine dosnt make the same noise.
does anybody else have this??? iis it ok/normal??? thanks

Yeah.... mine makes a tapping noise when idleing..... went to renault and they didnt have a clue... didnt know about the release valve though.. Interesting, will check this later.

could be the injectors, my injectors are extremely noisy!

got my previous owner of the car to take it back to where he bought it (subaru garage)
im not sure who he was something like a workshop controller came out to have a look because he owns a cup, and he said that his car dosnt make that noise.
so they took my details rang up renault, apparently renault have this on file.
and its normal!
