Temp Gauge Fault??

Just driven home from work and my Temp gauge has started playing up, When i accelerate the temp gauge seems to drop back to 0, when I let off all is fine. Its more pronounced when the engine is cold but does happen a bit when warm also.

Checked all the obvious stuff, oil, water levels, etc and there fine.

If anyone has experienced this or has any ideas please help. I dont fancy the £80 diagnostic charge if its a simple fix.

Probably the coolant temp sensors tis a common thing, does it run a bit rougher like cold start when it drops? I can chuck it on obd and read the sensor data to be sure if you want.

Mate that would be fantastic if thats ok. Doesnt seem to run any different or perform any different.

Hmm could be the dials then I guess worth checking first then, i'm off work this week so can have a look at it for you whenever, shoot me a pm.
