temp sensors on valver mirrors

heard that the temperature sensor was on the mirror on the valver just wondering if this is the little nobbly thing underneath the one of them?

No, it is behind the mirror-glas..-

huh, there is a heating element behind the glass, but the nobbly bit is the temp probe, just put your hand over it for a few mins, you will see the temp gauge rise.

I have changed mine (left hand car) and it was inside the behind the glass. Somebody may have moved it before me...

ruf, look under your wing mirrors, youll see the hole that it pokes out of.

On mine is under the left hand side mirror...
