Temperature bars.. how many?

Mine sits at 2 bars most of the time, unless Im in traffic/sat idling where it raises to 4bars. Is this a problem as Ive just read it should be a tad higher? Thanks guys.

Should warm up to the middle, then stay there solid as a rock.

Even on a 1.2 16v? Should I be looking to replace my thermostat? Cheers.

Every car/vehicle i've ever driven warms up to the centre and stays there (unless broken), so assume that's normal. Sounds like the thermostat, i'm sure someone else will confirm this.

Replace the thermostat and bleed the coolant (which you'll need to do to replace the thermostat anyway)
