temperature sensor

I was just wondering, if the external temperature sensor is disconnected or not working, what will be displayed on the led display at the top with the time? I was wondering because I dont know if some clios do not have the external temperature as an option or it is a fault with mine?

it's usually in one of the door mirrors iirc. I thought all mk2 clios had them, unless you have the lowest model, in which case you might not.

I think its normally left hand side (passenger) sticks out the bottom. Mine broke, cut and replaced with a 2nd hand one from a cs member.
