Tesco Insurance - Modifications

Just wondering if anyone is with tesco that has any modifications on their car that are declared? if so.. how much did the modification effect your premium?

ahh tesco was a bump for me...
i had them last year... declared my alloys, fks, brakes,
was a rip off..

now im with someone else, and my insurance is 800 fully comp with all mods declared. ive been driving only 2 years. 1years NCB

if you dont mind me asking how old were you when you declared them with tesco?

i was 24, but turned 25 in july and change my insurance with elephant in august.... so age does help...

thats expensive as hell. im up for renewal in december and will have 1 yrs ncb... does anyone have any recommendations to who would be cheaper when mods are declared?

I was with tesco and did have mods and they arse raped me .. hence changing to APlan this year

I was with Tesco and they weren't too bad with mods TBH. ie for the angel eyes they only charged £15 admin for new pol doc. I declared the cat back exhaust, alloys, induction kit etc and it didn't go up too much. better than not declaring and having an accident and your insurance being void.

Im with tesco, i declared my induction kit which went up 80 quid, mt stainless steel backbox which did not change my premium at all coz adds no bhp. they been cool with me and im 22 with under 1 years driving experience and 0 nyc

As most of you have seen my car - they covered ALL my mods at a very reasonable rate.

No one could come close. or offer the level of cover.

teco are crap i thort i was with them a year ago just for alloys alone they wanted 220 quid, robbery! that was when i was 17 thou still rip.
