Test Drive in an F1 R27 booked

Just been down to the local ex stealer and they have a LY R27 in. Been reduced in price but it has done 44000 miles. Tempted but not likely to get rid of a lower mileage car for this. So booked a test drive to make up my mind if this is what I want to do. Will be in no hurry to buy so will take my time to find the exact car I want if I like it. If I don't will stick with my car and look at next mod.

Had the Test Drive and have to admit that I am impressed. Liked the seating position, build quality and smooth delivery of power. Would miss the go kart handling of the 182, the looks I get and knowing how much I have put into the car. Will be doing some serious thinking over the next couple of months and will have to make a decision. It's like any relationship when you start looking at others you need to address what is wrong with your present relationship. lol.

I test drove a R27 and I must say I preferred it (on the brief test drive) to my 182, just felt more quality. Didn't feel as quick as everything is top end but it was very nice.

I'm hoping to have a test drive in a R27 or R26 this week, but I have no idea what I have to do to do it, do i need to take in my licence, proof or insurance or anything else? will it matter if i had 3 points put on my licence 3 years ago?

I just noticed the OP is from Sarfhampton as well and I was wondering where you had your test drive at? Or if anyone else in the south knows where I can book a test drive on a R27 or R26?

The one at what was inchcape? i had a look at it last weekend...looked mint. If only i had the disposible funds at the moment i would have got rid of the VTR for it. End of the summer i may have to have another look for one

oh ok thats not far from me at all, the garage that's a hyundai garage aswell yeah? yeah i'm going to be starting (hopefully) a new job in may/july dependent on the start time but I wanted a nicer car than my 172, i know renaults rattle and that but a R27/R26 would be better built than my 172

They might ask for your license, probably not.

yer its now the Hyundai garage but is also a registered Renault service centre apparently.

Dont know if that R27 is still there or not but it was parked out the front last weekend when i was on way back from Saints V Pompey game so went in and had a look.

Also got the new Renault Dealer out of town now on the way out to Millbrook, they might have one knocking about.
