Tft Dvi???

i want to get a new monitor for my pc 19" widescreen job whats dvi, i have the slot on my computer for it, but should it affect my tft selection?

just the digital way of connecting your monitor to your g/card

DVI is superiour to analog...

for your PC to output in analogue, it has to convert it, thus loosing some quality.

Also for your TFT/LCD monitor to accept analogue, it has to convert analogue to digital...

So if you have a DVI-Out on your GPU, and a DVI-In on your monitor, you've got a better setup...

also another advantage of dvi is that the screen auto aligns it all to fit to the screen without having to adjust anything

TFT is a type of LCD screen.

VGA vs DVI is very dependant upon the panel being used (in the TFT).

Some it makes no difference (My Samsung 172x's for example), some it makes a big difference.
