Morning all, just thought I'd share my luck with you lot!
2 weeks ago, my bonnet popped up (only onto the first latch) on its own accord, but thought I'd better get it checked for the bonnet latch recall.
Phoned up Renault and they confirmed that it is still an issue and for me to bring the car in. So yesterday I drove to Rawlinsons Renault for them to take a look, great customer service actually. Coffee and tea on tap, and constantly informed what they were doing with the car.
They had the car in about 15mins, I went through to the parts department and see they were struggling to get it out of the workshop due to it being so low and them having a steep hill that even a standard car struggles with.
Shortly after, got told it was complete, but there had been an been an 'incident' ! I walked outside with the reception/parts man, to see...
Yes! They had snapped my splitter! He said 'obviously its not a standard one' I was like 'it was at some point, but I broke it myself and made two out of one' lol
he replied "well, in that case you get a brand new one"
So basically to cut a long story short, Renault broke my already 'broken' cup splitter and are buying me a £150 genuine cup splitter replacement!!
good times!
