That ain’t right...................HELP!

Over last couple of days i have noticed some very weird happening with my valver and it seems to be grtting worse.

When i start any journey for at least 10 mins i get the following problem. When accelerating and i get to any thing over 2500rpm the revs dont seem to drop off when i remove my foot from the accelerater pedal. This means that the engine is staying at those revs for a short while before it starts to drop slowly. This is becoming worse and taking longer to drop. Meaning that when I change gear it revs its nuts off when the clutch is down, then jolts a bit when the foot is removed form the clutch again.

Anybody had this problem before, or anybody know what it could be. Some one said it could be the accelerater cable sticking or maybe the injectors not getting told that the ppedal is released, any HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

well ive had both acc and clutch cables replaced but the problem is jus the old engines dont like the cold.

As u say in the first 10 mintues i will accelerate and at 2.5k she starts to splutter then changin gear is jolty and rough but once the heater dial starts movin then its fine and all is smooth

maybe changin the oil would help m8
