the alarm again (cont.)

right i posted this 2 days ago explaining that my alarm kept going off through the night, and i ended up having to leave it open for the duration of the morning,

anyway all yesterday the car was fine until about 30mins ago i was woken up by the alarm again,

im aware of the millions of posts about this alarm and have tryed most of the feseable things,

THE PROBLEM

i lock the car and walk away 30secs later it sends a series of beeps and then the ararm goes off,

- all vents are faceing down
- checked all sensors work including boot and bonnet
- tryed disabling the unltra sonics

please please can any one shed some light, i no its a common problem just if its happend to any one else then let me no how you fixed it im totally nackerd lol,

as my car is the etoile, it is standard alarm and i belive it ma be the same as the 172 alarms, the etoile is the high end 1.4 16v has all the xtras

Id take it renault, based on what your saying id say no one on here will be able to help you out mate really.

yea i thorght so, any one no what the parts would cost, its gona be £40 just to get it on the electronics

has it got a sensor switch on the bonnet??
mine went off a couple of times a few days ago i narrowed it down to that switch.....
just blasted it with contact cleaner and its been fine since.

yea it has one and ive depressed the sensor the turned tha alarm on and it stil goes off but wait.....

just locked the ar and its not gone of for about 3 mins now, which means now the sun is on it it might be getting better ... which also means that it is probbable condensation related,

holy sheit batman i think ive got it (probs not)

where is the alarm or the bit that would get water in it if anywhere?

What does the alarm say its tripped on? The LED should flash so many times to tell you after you've unlocked it, look in the manual.

Should help narrow it down.
