Cool, nipped down today and put the dehumdifier in! Just left it switched on, but it switches itself off when it needs to. And yeah Kev can have the erm honour!

I noticed that cheers.

I acctually cant wait till its done the excitment is growing with me, kev and ESE, we all cant wait to see how well (or s**t) it goes. tunning is very limited in these engines but hopefully this one will show people the light of what can be done :D

A lot of respect for doing something like this yourself (minus a bit for wearing that t-shirt, hehe) Good luck with it all.

This is kev..

For the initial build we're aiming for around 170bhp at around 12-14psi (the less boost the better, hopefully some of the mods and additions will help attain that) and probably have some laughing gas in there too

i'd hope with the mods we've made the engine should be good for about 220-240bhp on >20psi but thats not gonna happen for some time i dont think :)

there are roumors of the engines being unstable at high boost levels but we recon a lot of this is down to the management being a bit antiquated, not much we can do about that for now, but the addition of autronic or similar would help out a lot i recon :)

Dave, as you know I run a similar setup, and I will be right by you when you go for the big jump to the 200's (bhp)

Obviously your at the other end of the country, but that doesn't mean we can't get things going in terms for this engine.

Hopefully will see you at FCS '06

Cool cool. The jump to 200+ will be after about 6-8months of running at 170, but we will see how it goes.

Ill be at Fcs and hopefully the clio will be 2. :D

looks good mate, oil pump price may seem expensive but when you think that its the part thats going to keep your engine all nice and oiled up, and its the 1 thing the engine relies on, then the price doesn't seem to bad :)

I paid about £140 for my new one (would find the exact figure but its in a huge stack of receipts for all the s**t i bought for mine)
