sum say mk3 and the next is mk4 (my educated guess)

sum say mk2 and the next is mk3

And thats your 7 years for the MK2, new model please! Not sure if Ive got the MK1 dates rights BTW.


Looks like weve got 3 "phases" of the MK3 Clio to come over the next 7 years.

lmao. Its true though! Only thing that might be wrong about that is the dates for the MK1, Phase 1/2/3. Not 100% sure where the changes were.

Thats just the order they were released in. There were three versions of the original "boxy" shape Clio. Its now clear that there are three versions of the "curvy" version.

Then well be moving on to the MK3, phase 1 "canal barge" shape....

mine is 96 and from what i can tell it has the rounded lights so they must of put rounded lights in in 96

current clio is a clio 2 phase 2.the 182 will also be a clio 2 phase 2.the new clio in 2005 may be a clio 2 phase 3 or a clio 3 dont know yet.

Mk1 ph1s were from H reg to late L reg making it Aug90 to about July94. I have seen some ph2 L regs, so I would suggest ph2 was Julyish 94 to about Octoberish 96 (i have seen a couple of ph2 P reg Clios but most P regs are ph3.

uh uh! My mams H reg Clio 1.2 was mk1 ph1 regd August 1990. Phase two came out on L reg late on making it just before September 1994

Ben, for your geek library.....they are referred to as Clio and Clio II and their respective phases.
