Finally got myself a wee runaround today, only got one pic of it so far, pick it up satarday morning

its a 1.5 DCi65 Dynamique, imaculate inside, drives awesome, bit tatty on the outside but that will be sorted in a few weeks time. 140k miles, even more than my last one  but drives brilliant.

this will be the winter run around while the 172 is having a few bits and pieces done and a few goodies ;) so the scottish lot will see it at the winter meets.

payed £1800 for it which isnt to bad considering the condition, just had £300 spent on it at a diesel specialist, got receipts for that not had a look at them though due to a starting problem it was having which is now cured, something to do with injectors (i dont know much about the dci engines)

like i said its just a runaround so not really much plans for it apart from a general tidy up, RS grill is a deffo, i might stick a dci100 intercooler on it and map it but ive not got it for performance just to get to work and back but like said above considering its 10bhp down on the 1.2s ive been driving and owned in the past its very deceiving, pulls well low down which is why i went for a diesel over a small engined petrol (apart from the obvious mpg too!)

was getting 65mpg on the test drive and that was just around town lol

but knowing me watch this space because it will probably be on coilovers soon hahah

just read it ohh noo, ive got the bug already i think lol

just a bit put off by mapping a car thats done 140k, maby im just being silly i dunno! just dont want to put too much stress on it!

i am actually really excited, possibly even more than when i got my 172 haha with the 172 because i payed a lot i was constantly thinking "should i have?" "is it a good idea?" "can i really afford it?" where this is just cheap fun!

will do fine untill feburary when the 172 is going back on the road, its getting loads of goodies :D

its not quite the fabia VRS i was going to get but its a brilliant wee bus for £1800

really nice to drive compaired to the 1.2's due to the heavy steering like the 172 and the low down torque, nice wee town bus lol

in the last 2 years thats me had clios with 320,000 miles in total haha

it drives awesome i expect many more miles out it if i behave myself with it (probably end up with a huge turbo and a massive front mount haha

The Big Yin, never done one yet, ill let you know how i get on haha think i just need a few tools for it, ill speak nicely to the renault boys to get a shot of them!
