The Panda lows & lols

Finally springs & shocks are on. Went for a lap of the Fletch ring to bed them in. What a giggle. The ride is planted, much more comfortable than standard and gone is the understeer around roundabouts, although the tyres were screaming in protest. Had a great laugh and stopped for some pics.

Hi, I've told you before I'm the original BOY-RACER, I'm 63 and just moved onto a houseing estate into a two bed bungalow (gods waiting room around here)
and the locals think I'm made in my red Clio 197. Joking aside I realy like what you have don to this little car, I do fancy one. ( saw a fab. Mk1 Cooper S today.
Tarten red/Old English white roof, roll cage, Minilites, Gp2 arches, driven by a chap older than me ) Good night I'm of to bed with a cup of cocoa.
Regards Steve

Steve, sorry if I've taken your title. Have spent all of today with Mini Coopers and old men. Even met someone called Paddy Hopkirk who used to make roof racks and I think rallied Minis when I was a boy.

As for you Tim show some respect to your elders :butt:

Cheers Lawrence looks like you're changing your initial opinion.

  Never above 25mpg
I'm still not overly fond of the styling Pete but the changes you've made are all positive :D I'll have a good nosey round it when I'm next down!

Is your plate going on it soon?

I've been reading up on these as I'm looking for a replacement for the Type-R, and some reviews claim that the electronic powered steering spoils the drive as it's too intrusive and numbs any steering feel. How do you find it?

Without the sport button on the steering is very light and does give you a vague feedback. Press the Sport button and the steering is heavier and more direct. I don't find it to be a problem and it compares well with the 197 for it's steering. It certainly handles well and responds quickly to changes in direction.l

I used to think the steering on the 197 was pretty good, as opposed to the EP3's steering being rather numb. My local garage have a Panda 100hp, is there anything I should look out for?

Haven't heard of much going wrong with them just check usual panels as they do seem a bit thin. Take it out for a drive and don't worry about the harsh ride that is normal for a 100HP and can be changed for about £400 which is what I have done.

Pete. I love this! You should come out in a passenger ride in the paxo later this year when the engine is in. Not long now and it will be in.
