Anyone ever heard of them or used them: http://www.thepolicyshop.co.uk/

They're considerably cheaper for me than any other insurer this year. I tend to only go for the big well known companies though, as from past experience they do a better job when making a claim. Before anyone goes off on one about that, that's based on my experience with various major insurance companies, I know some people get messed around and screwed over.

Well, I got as far as finding my car and it reckons that my 2003 registered 172 is a date 2 years after the manufacture of the model ceased... so I gave up.

They look like brokers to me, and I couldn't find out who the policy us underwritten by. I think I'll see what Direct Line come back with this year, or go with Hastings Direct, as they were cheap this year. I need to do my home insurance too, so I'll be pushing for maximum discounts.
