Thermostat Dancing About

Hi,

Over the past week the thermostat on the dash hasn't been right. Normally when the engine is up to temperature it sits horizontally.

Every so often it decides to dance about, not sitting at any particular temperature.

Is it time for a new sensor? How much are they from Renault and are they easy to replace?

Will check in the morning. If I drive a bit more spiritedly then it seems to settle itself which makes me think faulty sensor?

Piece of piss to fit, lose coolant doing this so as well changing that as well.
