Thermostat housing leak issue

My thermostat housing is leaking oil , you can see where its appears to be coming from. Is that normal ?

I have ordered a new gasket to try fix this

Yes that is possible.
Gasket should sort it.

I think so , yeah . Are they not oil galleries above and coolant below ?.

New Gasket appears to have sorted the leak and just made sure they were all torqued sufficiently
