I am looking into getting two new front tyres for the cup and was thinking about getting a set of toyo tr1s, are these any good? and do they grip well in the wet like the advert says they do?
Well the adverts not going to say they are crap in the wet is it , lol .
I had some T1'rs and T1's on my 172 and couldn't wait to change them . They are crap imo , unless you want to drive like an old granny , then they " might " be fine
Its good tyres that keep you on the blackstuff though isn't it I'd rather pay a few quid extra for good tyres , knowing that they won't fail me in any weather condtion .
F1s are waaay to soft to use on track though if you have anything like that in mind. You'd melt them in half a day, which is why I fitted T1Rs instead. CBA spending £££ on PE2s to knacker them on track.
