Think I am missing something

Just brought a Clio 172 Cup and I love it, It drives great, but think I am missing something!

I have looked about and think its a fuel rail cover.... But not 100% so can anyone tell me? If I am missing something can you let me know where I can get it and how much likely to cost

There is a french scrappy near me but guessing it only on the 172 or 182

i think that is suposed to be like that mate as the rail guard doesnt have anything that goes into it and mine was like it when i took it off to clean it up.

yeah its only a 1*2 engine thing i think although im not 100% so could still be worth a look. try doing a search on here in the for sale section. they might have something, if not then put something up in the wanted section.

might also be worth haveing a look to see if any one is breaking one. maybe on e bay or somthing.

There few people breaking 172's on ebay at the moment will have to email them,

Guessing this isnt too much of an issue having it missing?? I will replace it but just want to make sure it not gonna screw the car if I drive it about for a week

its only there for protection of the fuel rail in a crash. will be fine without it for a while until you can get hold of one. just don't crash!

looks as though you're missing the bolts as well. could be worth firing up a wanted thread on here, as people take them off when tracking them for weight saving

Have just done it, Does it just bolt on through the two holes left on the top?

yep, using double ended studs, like headbolts

Your best going to renault for the bolts/studs. They hold the lower inlet to the head also. The 1.6, 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0 fuel rail gaurd should fit.
