this filter anygood

looks like its fitted to the older mk1 clio rather than the mk2 phase 2 i have. i just opted for a K&N induction kit !! was about £80 i think, and looks superb and sounds the same !!

well i have heard of the viper but i take it this is k-tec version ot somthing and was wonderring if anyone had it and if it was anygood. its for a mk 1 clio16v

did you not bother with a cold air feed or is it fine how it is?

You dont get one with the kit, but you get the adapter. Thats why its a little cheaper.

There is no need really for the cold air feed as it doesnt get any warm/hot air in where it is.

David at K-Tec did tests with and without and the inlet temps werent any different.

Also, there is hardly any room for the cold air feed pipe, mine has no chance cos of all my Oil Cooler hoses......

yeah, its much better than the open pipercross Paul, i have a Viper also. youll notice it lower down in the revs much more. sounds good too.
