this is going to sound well picky

i tried a little test today, i removed my air filter, cut some mesh to size a made 2 layers or correct sized tights stretch over it, (what some1 told me to try):S

anyway, afterwards took it for a littel drive and the sound is awsom and i seem to get a better throttel responce,

however my little bro drilled my airbox to bits and said ' the geezer at motorworld told me to do it' so i now need a new one of them:dapprove:

what do yu think? pikky or wat lol

  BMW M135i
Airbox won't help, will just suck hot air in from the engine bay rather than drawing the cooler air from behind the headlight. And drilled airbox lol :D.

hahaha, my mate just glued like old credit cards and stuff to the inside to stop hot air coming in, seems to work pretty well! and saves you money (keep the £40 for modding your car)

i used to do the tights thing on some of the motor bikes i had..

Seemed to run ok for thousands of miles

Might wear the engine slightly over the long term though

Just make shure the tights cant get sucked in to the engine!!
